  • Steel plates can produce dangerous fragmentation upon impact. To mitigate this risk, all of our AR550 plates come with a PolyShield Spall Protection Coating. This specially formulated coating helps contain spall and protects the wearer from harmful debris. With this additional layer, you can wear your armor with confidence.
• Standard Coating
  • Standard Coating to protect plate from the elements. This coating provides little to no protection from projectile fragmentation.
